Add the date picker to your cart page
Updated 23 July 2026
The cart page is the most popular location: shoppers pick one date for the whole order, right above the Checkout button.
Set it up
- In Flare, open Date selector (or the setup wizard if you're still onboarding).
- Choose Cart page as the location. Flare opens the Shopify theme editor on your cart template with the block ready to add.
- Confirm the Cart Page Date Picker block appears in the left-hand panel. If it isn't there, click Add block → Apps → Cart Page Date Picker.
- Click Save (top right of the theme editor).
- Back in Flare, confirm the step — Flare detects the live block automatically.
Check it worked
Open your storefront, add a physical product to the cart, and view the cart page. The picker sits above the Checkout button with your configured label (default: "Select a delivery date").
Rules to know
- Make sure the SLIDE CART Date Picker app embed is off (theme editor → App embeds). That embed is only for cart drawers; running both shows two calendars.
- The block positions itself above the Checkout button automatically. To place it elsewhere on the page, see Repositioning the block.
- The picker only renders for carts with physical products.
- If your theme uses a cart drawer and shoppers rarely see the cart page, use the drawer guide instead.
If it doesn't show
Work through I can't see the date picker — the usual causes are the wrong block for your cart type, a leftover second block, or digital-only carts.
