Offering same-day delivery

Show "today" in the calendar until your operational deadline, then remove it automatically.
The recipe
- Date availability → Earliest date customers can choose → set to
0. - Add a cutoff with:
- the time same-day closes (e.g.
12:00), - your warehouse timezone,
- before cutoff =
0(same-day allowed before the deadline), after cutoff =1(tomorrow after it).

- If you use shipping zones, make sure the same-day service's transit time is
0days — only a zero-transit option can put "today" on the calendar. - Save and watch the preview: before the cutoff, today is selectable; refresh after the cutoff and it's gone.
Sharpen it
- Cap the volume: add an order limit so a same-day rush can't swamp the kitchen.
- Restrict the area: offer same-day only in your local shipping zone (e.g. your city's postcodes) with a dedicated "Same-day delivery" option, priced accordingly.
- Restrict the products: use Product & customer rules to keep made-to-order items out of same-day.
- Weekdays only: same-day obeys your delivery days — no Sunday same-day if Sunday is off.
Good to know
"Today" in the calendar means the delivery date equals today. Flare schedules and tags the order; your team or local courier still does the run — Flare doesn't dispatch riders.
