Time slots
Updated 23 July 2026
Let customers choose a delivery window as well as a day — "Saturday, 10:00–12:00" instead of just "Saturday".
Available on the Organised plan and above.
Set it up
- Open Date availability and find Time slots.
- Turn time slots on and define your windows:
- Start time and End time of the deliverable day.
- Time slot duration — Flare divides the day into slots of this length (e.g. 2-hour windows from 08:00–18:00 gives five slots).
- Click Save.
A "Select a time slot" dropdown (label editable) appears under the calendar once a date is chosen.
How it behaves
- The chosen slot is written to the order alongside the date (attribute
__flare_time_slot) and shows on the thank-you page and order status page. - Pickup has its own time windows configured in the Pickup tab, so collection hours can differ from delivery hours. See Store pickup.
- Time slots are informational scheduling for your ops team — they don't currently carry separate per-slot capacity; order limits cap the day as a whole.
Tips
- Keep slots realistic: fewer, wider windows fail less often than many narrow ones.
- Put the slot into your delivery paperwork by including the order attributes in your pick/pack flow — see order tags and attributes.
