Automatic dates for recurring subscription orders
Updated 23 July 2026
Subscription renewals are created by your subscription app, not by a shopper with a calendar in front of them — so Flare can assign the dates automatically.
Available on the Advanced plan and above.
Set it up
- Open Date availability and switch to the Recurring orders tab.
- Turn on automatic dates for recurring orders.
- Optionally give renewals their own availability — available weekdays and blocked dates that apply only to subscription renewals (e.g. you deliver subscriptions only on Wednesdays even though one-off orders go out daily).
- Click Save.
How it behaves
- When a renewal order lands, Flare calculates the next valid delivery and ship date using your rules — renewal-specific ones if configured, otherwise your normal calendar — and writes the same tags and attributes as any other order.
- The order then flows through hold & release, the shipping calendar, and your integrations exactly like a scheduled one-off order.
Keeping billing aligned
Assigning dates to renewals is half the story; keeping the billing cycle aligned to delivery is the other half. If you're on Recharge or Skio, connect the integration so the next charge date follows the delivery schedule:
